A century ago the bond between people and the wild creatures of Aelora was severed. Caught in the storm that tears the sky open again, you wake bonded to a dying sky-spirit — the first Bondbearer in a hundred years, and the most hunted person alive.
01 · The world
People once lived bonded to the Kin — a shared soul-thread called the Tether. A bonded pair could fight, heal and travel as one. A hundred years ago the Ascendant Synod cut the Tetherweave in a single heartbeat. Every bond broke at once.
The Synod rebuilt the world around Cages — crystal lanterns that bind a Kin's power without its consent, sold as tools, weapons and city light. Wild Kin went feral or fled to the high wilds. Nobody alive remembers what a real bond felt like.
In the wreck of a sky-ferry you free a dying spirit named Pip — and a falling strand of the broken Tetherweave binds you. A real bond, the first in a hundred years. The Synod feels it across the whole sky.
02 · The Kin
Rivers have guardians, storms have hearts, forests have shepherds. Weaken a wild Kin, calm it, and offer the Tether — it can always say no. Click any Kin to see it close up.
03 · Elements
Every Kin, skill and reaction runs on one of eight elements. Land two on the same target and they react — Wind + Ember is Wildfire, Tide + Storm is Surge.
04 · Where it begins
The closed beta opens on one isle of floating steppe, glass-blue lakes and coral wildwood — and ends in the sky-city of Skyport Halvard.
Wake where the ferry fell. Pip can't fly yet; learn to bond the wild Kin of the high meadow.

05 · Closed Beta Test 1
CBT1 is a closed test of the first two chapters on PC, planned for June 2027. There is no NDA: testers can stream, record and post everything they play. Seats are limited and picked by hand from the recruitment survey, in waves. Selected testers get a key bound to the email they applied with.
